Prepping for the road trip.
There are a few things that should be taken care of before your trip. First you should clean your vehicle, inside and out. Throw away all old trash and things that wont be necessary during the trip. This allows your a fresh start before hitting the road!
Next, make sure that you pack an emergency kit. Always be prepared for the worst case scenario while traveling. An emergency kit usually includes the following: water bottle, energy bars, first aid kit, flashlight, extra phone charger, tool kit, gloves, etc. An emergency kit will come in handy during all occasions and trips.
Check your tire pressure. Weather causes your tire pressure to fluctuate on a daily basis. Start your road trip off the right way and make sure that your tires are not over or under inflated. This could cause a major roadside blow out.
Check your oil! This is an easy “do it yourself” task. Just locate the oil dipstick, pull it out and wipe it off with a rag. Insert the dipstick again, check where the oil is compared to the designated line. If you need an oil change, call us ASAP (615)459-5881.
Lastly, locate your proof of insurance. This card should be accessible at all times. Whether it’s your car insurance, health insurance or insurance that covers your guests on board. This will save you in any emergency situation.
